it's not all black and white at Some Odd Girl! new challenge!

morning!
i'm a day late, but yesterday was ROUGH, with a training class an hour and a half away and a nasty migraine sticking with me ALL day. over that hump now, thank goodness, because today is my last day of work and i'm OFF FOR A WEEK! my leedle english bird is coming for her visit, and we shall CRAFT! oh yes.
anywho, yesterday, we posted a brand new challenge at Some Odd Girl, and we hope you're inspired to play along! we have just ONE simple rule for this one....

COLOUR YOUR IMAGE IN BLACK AND WHITE!

the rest is up to you! :)

click here to see all the divine samples from our Odd Girls, and prepare to be awestruck! i really like this technique, and it seems everyone has a slightly different approach....

i've grabbed the very sweet Roller Mae for an uplifting card - checkity check her out!

and while i would normally be inclined to throw down some SERIOUS bursts of bright colours, i stuck with a pretty soft palette:

of course, there are prizes to be won and faves to be pinned, and lots of fun to be had! come and join us OVER HERE, and upload your entries by Tuesday, November 1st at midnight eastern!

i'm playing along at...
Crafty Cardmakers - "Cute, with a dark twist" (mine's cute, but the twist is the dark colouring!)
PaperPlay Challenges - "Use Black" - indeed!

and you'll see LOTS of cards from me when i return, but the majority of my posting will have to be scheduled for next week as i'll have no internet access where i'm going! (no, not hell, silly - down to Cape May!)
